Renowned as one of the most spectacular venues to host an Australian beach wedding, Barefoot at Broken Head invites a ceremony with magical seaside vistas stretching up and down Byron’s stunning coast and a reception in the privacy of your own property. Celebrate with exclusive access to the property and relax in luxury accommodation, sleeping up to 14 guests.

This lush beach house is located just a short walk through a winding bush path and sand dunes to a world-famous surf break. With eucalypts crowded thick over the hills, and waves rolling in from the famous rocky outcrop of Broken Head, you’ll find yourself in a state of pure harmony with nature. Your guests will see the iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse, the most easterly point of Australia, at the end of the single stretch of sand to the North.

Our guests are assured of a wedding that encompasses a sense of utmost seclusion and exclusivity. After your ceremony, invite your guests on a short stroll back to the minimal masterpiece that is Barefoot at Broken Head.

The impressive block is home to three towering pine trees, around which the property is designed. There are five beautifully appointed bedrooms in a series of open Balinese-style buildings, each connected by decks and walkways. Perfect to house your whole family, enjoy ample space with huge common living areas as well as total privacy when you need an escape.

A ceremony on beautiful Broken Head beach with the ocean as your backdrop, or on the property lawn for a more intimate atmosphere with beautiful lush tropical gardens.

Cocktail Hour on the spacious deck and in the tropical oasis Barefoot offers.


Dining inside the spacious deck. Depending on your guest numbers, a cocktail reception might be more appropriate.

WEDDING PLANNING OPTIONS
We know how overwhelming it is to plan a wedding. There are so many elements that need to be decided on such as hire items, lighting, menus, floor plans, seating charts, on the day supplier schedule, supplier choices, transport, and styling just to name a few! That’s where we come in; to help ease the pressure, give you advice and look after all the logistics so you can enjoy your wedding journey in its entirety.

The Signature Planning package is required for all weddings booked through Byron Bay Weddings with the option for additional assistance if required. Once planned, one of our incredible wedding day coordinators will be there to run your day exactly as planned so it's executed flawlessly and to ease any stress on the day.


CATERING & STAFFING
One of the most important elements of your wedding day will be the opportunity to enjoy exceptional food with your nearest and dearest in a beautiful setting.

We work with two of the region’s award-winning caterers – Fig Tree Restaurant and Feast Events. They have catered over 1000 weddings in their time and their food and service is incredible!

​Each wedding couple is invited to the Fig Tree Restaurant for a complimentary tasting dinner before their wedding day. This allows them to sample the food and service they will provide at Barefoot at Broken Head before the big day. 


STYLING YOUR DREAM WEDDING
We exclusively use The Wedding Shed for any additional items you may wish to hire to style your wedding. They offer a huge range of the latest trending furniture and décor making it easy to source quality items to bring your ceremony, dining or cocktail hour to life.
