ABOUT FRIDA'S FIELD

Frida’s Field is a place to revel in the beauty of nature. An idyllic 120-acre eco-farm with stunning views of lush pasture and rolling green hills. The variety of spaces around the property will create a memorable journey over the course of a wedding day.


A purpose-built timber barn designed to maximize the views offers a grand and elegant space with neutral colours and natural textures. It has a high vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden trusses, recycled brick fireplace, and a large covered verandah. A spacious kitchen with two substantial counters ensures effortless catering and drinks service. Adjoining the barn is a large lawn terrace where you can watch the sunset over the surrounding orchards.

Photo opportunities abound, with your choice of several majestic ceremony trees, fields that capture “golden hour” perfectly, textural sheds, and a cute cottage that was featured in Country Style.

Just 10 minutes from Bangalow and 25 minutes from Byron, it’s a picturesque drive along main roads the whole way. For every wedding at Frida’s Field, we plant a tree on our farm which you can visit over the years.

Having a wedding here helps us regenerate our farm into a forest-like ecosystem by integrating trees into agriculture, thereby sequestering carbon, building soil health and fostering biodiversity.

Catering:

Frida’s Field has an onsite catering team that will look after your food and drinks.

  • Minimum spend is $11,500 +GST on food & drinks (Frida's Field is a licenced venue).
  • Inclusive of staffing for both setup & pack down for a Frida's Field wedding.

Wet Weather Options:

  • Inside the barn can seat up to 120 people

You may need to add guest umbrellas ($5ea) and additional set-up time.

Accommodation:

  • Self-contained one-bedroom cottage is available. Perfect for hosting the bridal party the night before the wedding and the newlyweds the night of the wedding.
  • $600 for 2 nights.

Planning and Coordination:

  • Signature Planning Package required with the option to add additional assistance if required.

Transport:

  • Parking: Up to 5 car spaces available.
  • Buses or taxis must be arranged for all other guests.

Style & Hire:

  • Furniture and décor to be hired through The Wedding Shed.

WEDDING PLANNING OPTIONS
We know how overwhelming it is to plan a wedding. There are so many elements that need to be decided on such as hire items, lighting, menus, floor plans, seating charts, on the day supplier schedule, supplier choices, transport, and styling just to name a few! That’s where we come in; to help ease the pressure, give you advice and look after all the logistics so you can enjoy your wedding journey in its entirety.

The Signature Planning package is required for all weddings booked through Byron Bay Weddings with the option for additional assistance if required. Once planned, one of our incredible wedding day coordinators will be there to run your day exactly as planned so it's executed flawlessly and to ease any stress on the day.


STYLING YOUR DREAM WEDDING
We exclusively use The Wedding Shed for any additional items you may wish to hire to style your wedding. They offer a huge range of the latest trending furniture and décor making it easy to source quality items to bring your ceremony, dining or cocktail hour to life.

We suggest browsing their website and send a wish list through to your planner, or choose from one of the looks they have already created that work really well at this venue.
